Tempe, Tucson, and Yuma. Trent is a firearm enthusiast and focuses a substantial part of his legal
practice on firearms law in Arizona and nationally. A collector and shooter himself, Trent loves helping
others learn, understand, and operate within the laws and regulations that govern guns. He owns a
large, and growing, collection of handguns, revolvers, rifles, shotguns, short barrel rifles, and silencers.
He enjoys regular target shooting and believes in being armed for self-defense. He is a strong and
active advocate for the Second Amendment and for safe firearms ownership and usage. This website
was created to inform and assist all Arizona residents, whether they own firearms or not, in better
understanding the laws and regulations surrounding gun ownership and usage. Isn't it better to have
your gun law matter handled by a gun-supporting lawyer?
Too many gun owners claim they are huge supporters of the Second Amendment, but have never
actually do anything to help protect their gun rights! Far too many have never bothered to join any
Second Amendment advocacy organizations that lobby and fight state and federal legislatures to get
gun friendly legislation. Owning a few guns does NOT make you a supporter of the Second Amendment:
it only makes you a beneficiary of the Second Amendment! Think of it this way: a mother and father
support their children by working jobs and providing money, food, and a home, while the kids benefit.
In the same way, these groups support the Second Amendment through their hard work and money, while gun owners sit at home and benefit from their support. Getting involved with and supporting the organizations that support your rights actually does something - it makes you a supporter rather than a mere beneficiary. Most of these organizations do not charge very much to become a member. Most are $25-50 per year. If you are not already a member of a Second Amendment advocacy groups, please put your money where your mouth is and become a supporter, instead of a free-riding beneficiary. Trent Woods is a member and active supporter of the ALL of following groups and encourages you to get involved in these or similar organizations.
