AZ Gun Law Trust Packages

AZ Gun Law gun trusts allow you, your spouse, your children, your family members, or your shooting buddies to legally possess and use your NFA firearms in your presence.

Those named in the trust can legally use and possess NFA firearms, but under the terms of our trusts, everyone with you engaged in firearms-related activity also automatically becomes a temporary beneficiary of the trust so that they can use and possess the NFA firearms in your presence as well.  Most other gun trusts DO NOT do this; they do not protect against the Constructive Possession and Transfer Traps.

- Hold your non-NFA guns and accessories in the trust to protect them against possible government bans and to ensure they go to whom you want, when you want, and how you want

- Allows you full control over your guns during your life; you can use them, lend them out (there are some restrictions on NFA firearms), sell them, exchange them, make investments, keep income distributions, or even revoke and terminate the trust should you desire

- Maintains the separate property character of any separately owned property that is contributed to the trust (particularly in community property states like Arizona)

Create contingent trusts in the event your beneficiaries are minors when they would otherwise inherit the trust assets

- Protect trust assets from your beneficiaries' creditors (Speeding Bullet Gun Trust does not include this feature)

- Includes instructions on how to complete the trust and submit it to the ATF with your new NFA purchase applications (ATF forms 1 or 4)

AZ Gun Law Gun Trust Features and Benefits

AZ Gun Law trusts are attorney-prepared.

Attorney Trent Woods knows gun law. He learned early on in his legal career that too many attorneys, and even non-attorneys, were providing inaccurate legal advice and offering low-quality gun trusts that lacked protection for gun owners and their families. As an avid firearms collector and shooting enthusiast, Trent was determined to help, and developed three quality gun trust options to fit every situation and budget.

We encourage you to research your options and compare our trusts to any others. We are confident you'll see the benefits in AZ Gun Law's gun trusts, and we guarantee the quality of our product and your satisfaction.

- Purchase and own NFA weapons while complying with the National Firearms Act, the Gun Control Act, and the Firearm Owners Protection Act, as well as state law

- Own and possess NFA weapons in multiple states in the event you need to move (subject to state laws)

- Protection against the "Constructive Possession Trap" and "Transfer Trap"

- Name multiple beneficiaries

- Name a successor trustee(s) should you and your spouse (if you are married) become disabled or die

- Own NFA registered weapons (if your state allows. Arizona allows all NFA weapons.)

- Build your own NFA weapons (not machine guns)

What happens after you get your gun trust?

Once you have your gun trust and it has been notarized (most banks will do this for free), you are free to go shopping at an NFA dealer of your choice. Ask us for preferred dealers near you. No matter which trust version you get, you are able to legally purchase and own silencers / suppressors, machine guns, short barreled rifles (SBR), short barreled shotguns (SBS), destructive devices, or Any Other Weapons (AOW).  Simply select the items you want, pay the dealer, and then submit a copy of your trust, ATF form 4 in duplicate, and payment for the $200 tax stamp ($5 if AOW) to the ATF.  Your dealer will help you with this process, or even do it for you.  Next, wait for ATF approval.  Once the ATF has approved your application, you are free to pick up your new NFA firearms from the dealer.  Alternatively, after you have your completed trust, you are free to begin the process of making your own NFA firearms (except for machine guns).  To do so, you will submit a copy of the trust, ATF form 1 in duplicate, and payment for the $200 tax stamp to the ATF.  Then you sit back and wait for approval.

After approval, you can actually make the NFA item and have it engraved with the name of your trust, city, and state.  It really is that easy.  There are no licenses to get.  No annual fees or taxes.  You don't even have to file your trust with the state of Arizona.  The only time you submit a copy of your trust to any government entity is when you are buying or making a new NFA firearm and submit it to the ATF.  That's it.  Detailed instructions will come with your trust.  You can always ask us questions along the way.
